Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Profimedica collects through profimedica.ae, why we use it, who receives it and what choices you have.

1. Who we are

Profimedica (“Profimedica”, “we”, “us”) is a company working with medical, aesthetic and wellness equipment, including UltraPod hyperbaric chambers and LUMIER light beds. We operate profimedica.ae and decide how the personal data collected through it is used. You can contact us about this policy or your data by email at info@prc-tec.com or through the Contact page (profimedica.ae/contact/), writing “Privacy request”. Our offices are in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Kochi, Kerala (India); their addresses are on the Contact page.

2. What information we collect

When you send an enquiry through the Contact form we collect:

  • your full name, email address and country (required);
  • your phone / WhatsApp number, installation setting and project details (optional);
  • the equipment you are interested in (UltraPod, LUMIER or both) and, for UltraPod, the configuration;
  • the reason for your enquiry linked to the button you used (for example quote, technical details or installation), the language you were using, and the date and time you confirmed that you read this policy.

Please do not include health information or other sensitive data in the free-text field. We do not need it to answer your enquiry.

Automatically, when you visit the website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the date and time. This is kept in server logs for the operation and security of the site.

Unless you reject analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4, which collects pseudonymous identifiers, pages viewed, interactions, referrer, device and browser type and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We have turned off Google signals and advertising personalization.

The website has no user accounts and does not process payments.

3. Why we use your data and on what basis

  • To answer your enquiry, prepare quotes and follow up about pricing, specifications, installation and support. Basis: your request and, where required, your consent given by confirming this policy in the form.
  • To keep the website secure and working (server logs). Basis: our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the site.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it (analytics). Basis: our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the site. You can object at any time by rejecting analytics cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
  • To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not make decisions about you by automated means.

4. Who receives your data

  • Our hosting and email providers, which host the website and deliver your enquiry to our team.
  • Google LLC (Google Analytics), unless you reject analytics cookies.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us through the WhatsApp link: the website only opens WhatsApp, and your messages are then handled under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.
  • Where needed to answer your request (for example, to confirm technical or delivery details with the equipment manufacturer), we may share only the information strictly required.
  • Professional advisers and public authorities, when the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Profimedica works in Venezuela, Colombia, the United States and the United Arab Emirates, and some of our providers (such as Google) operate in other countries. Your data may therefore be processed outside your country. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to answer you and manage any resulting commercial relationship, and afterwards only as long as the law requires or to protect legal rights; then we delete or anonymize it. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security. Analytics data is kept according to the retention period configured in our Google Analytics account.

7. Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you (for example the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection, the EU/UK GDPR or Colombian Law 1581 of 2012), you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, receive a copy, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You may also complain to the data protection authority of your country.

To exercise your rights, contact us through the Contact page as described in section 1. We may need to verify your identity and we will reply within the period set by the applicable law. You can withdraw your cookie choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.

8. Cookies

We explain which cookies and similar technologies we use in our Cookie Policy (profimedica.ae/cookies/).

9. Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and we limit access to enquiries to the people who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18.

11. Links to other websites

The website may link to third-party websites, such as the studio that designed it. Their own privacy policies apply to them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
